Aryna Sabalenka
Sabalenka is a native of Minsk, the capital of Belarus. The father of her Sergey (d. 2019) was an Ice hockey player. Aryna Sabalenka was born Minsk, Belarus on May 5th of 1998. She holds 12 WTA titles throughout her career, which includes her Grand Slam of 2023 Australian Open. Her doubles game is excellent, and she won Majors during both the US Open (2019) and Australian Open (2021), both together with Elise Mertens. Together with her, the Belgian tennis superstar she was a WTA 1000s winner at Indian Wells in 2019 and Miami. The feat only four pairs in women's Doubles were able to pull off. The 23rd of August, 2021 was the day she rose to second position on the list of world singles rankings her best ranking reached again in January 2023. In doubles however she pushed her way to the top at the beginning of February that year following her victory in Melbourne making her the second tennis player born in Belarus to make it in this specialty. Dmitry Tursunov, a former Russian tennis player, was her coach her throughout the 2018 season until the conclusion and this season in 2020. Dieter Kindlmann worked with her for short periods in August of 2020 until September. Antonio Dubrov is her coach, and has been since at the beginning of 2020. Serena Williams & Maria Sharapova are her main inspirations.
